Hi, my name is Rachel Dickson and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with my husband, Joseph and our two small sons. Nicholas is 6 years old and started grade one this fall, he is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Teen Titan (he made me add this) fan who loves to read and spend time on the computer (much like his mummy). Tyler is 4 and was diagnosed with Autism 2 years ago. He has received full time therapy (Speech, OT, and Physical) for the last two years and has vastly improved, which is exciting. He is all about Disney Cars, printing from the computer and non-stop action!! We live next door to my mum and grandparents so we have a very strong, support group.
I started digitally designing in August 2002 when Tyler was 6 months old. I had paper scrapped before when Nicholas was a baby but with the two of them I found it hard to spend the time taking out the supplies, organizing, etc. Digital was the perfect option, no mess, easy storage and a wonderful creative avenue. There’s so much you can do digitally that the options are endless. I started out using Microsoft’s Digital Image Pro and worked my way into Photoshop, which I love. I have no defined style and my pages and kits really depend on my mood.
I work outside of the home at Rona, where I am the Team Leader of Kitchen and Bath/Plumbing. I am also an administrator at www.rakscraps.com, a designer at www.scrapdish.com and www.computerscrapbook.com as well as a MOD for P4D, so I like to keep busy!

Non- Scrapbooking related, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Supernatural, Calla Lilies, sunflowers, Tim Horton’s coffee, chocolate, blankets (I hate being cold), burgundy, napping, days off
What is your favorite season and why? Fall is my favorite because of the abundance of deep, rich colours.
